So you love fitness, you love training people, seeing people become more physically and emotionally than they thought possible. You love pouring into people and sharing your knowledge with them to improve their lives, right?
Hours and hours of knowledge learned and then shared with clients or friends. It is fun to share all the knowledge, but you didn't learn this overnight, yet somehow we are expected to share our knowledge with people, often for no compensation, or often for a set hourly rate...Even though that knowledge is going to go on and benefit that person well beyond the hour or hours we spend with them. They continue to gain from our wisdom or training, yet we don't continue to be compensated for the 'gifts' we provide them.
With knowledge of the human body, supplements, workouts, and all of the other areas that lead a person to optimal health, we become a person whose opinion holds great value to those we help. I have tapped into way of doing what I love, helping people in all the areas I just mentioned, whether you are a personal trainer, or just love training, that is paying fitness professionals and dietitions across the country good incomes. Some that add this to their training and knowledge sharing simply add an extra $200-$500 a month to their income. Others are earning incomes that have allowed them to train, just when and who they want to train, giving them the freedom to do with their time what they choose. I'm personally earning an extra $800/month but am on track, if I continue to implement this into my circle of influence, to be earning 3-4k in the next six months. Plus, the best part, is I'm getting those around me better results and they're feeling that much better.
Feel free to contact me for more information.
This blog will continue to show how to revolutionize the way you work with those around you (lifting or workout partners, or clients) and build yourself a residual business that pays you what you are worth for all the knowledge and hard work you have put in to get to where you are!
Blessings to all!

| Secret #1 that will keep you broke in fitness |
| Posted on March 24, 2009 by NeuLife |
Here's the deal. You are a personal trainer with knowledge that your client doesn't have and is seeking out from you, right. Or maybe you are the guy or gal amongst your friends that has the know-how and has done a lot of reading or spent a lot of time in the gym finding the answers and learning the techniques you now pass on to said client or friend. Point being, you have the knowledge they are seeking. You must transform your mindset from 'hours for dollars' to building a future through your passion. You are not performing manual labor, you are building a client based business. Period.
Here's the first secret, you can't keep relying on trading an hour long session for a set dollar amount. First off, you don't need to train your clients for an hour. You need to let go of the idea that you owe a client 60 minutes of training time. What you owe them is getting them the results they seek. It has been proven that shorter rest time and increased intensity will provide greater results for the person looking to lose fat, which is most of the market. If you can provide them better results in less time, you really should be worth even more than the trainer that takes a full hour to give them the same or lesser results. The key here is that you initially teach them practical warm-ups or whatever initial exercises you want them to do. There is no reason for you to help them from the moment they walk through the door to the time they leave.
In doing shorter sessions, you can fit more sessions into your schedule, but this is not the way I want you to think. You know how busy your schedule is already, you are not looking to simply add to you plate. That may increase your income short term, but the way in which you build a business is in receiving. The idea is to cut down on the 'chit-chat'. You don't need to know what kind of dog food they feed their poodle. Let's face it, it is the wealthy segment of society that more often than not is able to afford trainers to begin with, trust me when I say that as your relationship builds with your clients, the key to maintaining your status in their life as someone who provides value, is to be efficient with THEIR time. Again, you must turn your training sessions away from 'hour for dollar' payouts to having the mind of a business builder, and I'm going to show you just how to do that....stay tuned.
